New Litigation Hold Capability In CoreView

NEW CAPABILITY IN COREVIEW TO MANAGE THE LITIGATION HOLD SETTINGS IN OFFICE 365.

Why is it important to enable Litigation Hold on an Office 365 Mailbox? Well it’s to protect your enterprise data of course. Putting mailboxes, public folders or sites (e.g. OneDrive, SharePoint) on Litigation Hold prevents users from permanently deleting that content.

Microsoft Office 365 is designed to help organizations manage legal, regulatory, and technical standards. Setting up policies and enabling services that optimize these conditions is an important part of administering Office 365.

To help our customers easily set Litigation Holds, we’ve introduced a new action menu option in our management system. Now IT admins can quickly enable data retention for the mailboxes and repositories of specific users.

This new feature can be very useful as organizations receive content retention orders for emails, files, and shared folders. Furthermore, with the upcoming GDPR regulations in May it will be necessary to preserve all data related to a legal action to comply in a timely fashion.

Would you like to view this new capability within your environment? If you already have CoreView deployed, you can find this report under the ‘Manage’ tab together with other Office 365 reports. Otherwise, signup today for our free 14-day trial to see these features in action.
