Enterprises using on-premises infrastructure are often leveraging the concept of multiple forests and domains to isolate boundaries and categorize resources between various business units. With Microsoft 365 in the mix, this is even more challenging.

They must choose to either point multiple forests to one Microsoft 365 tenant and risk giving admins the “keys to the kingdom” or create a 1:1 ratio of Active Directory forests and tenants. This creates a staggering level of complexity for administrators.

Virtual Tenants™

This powerful technology makes it possible to segment a Microsoft 365 tenant into granular “slices” based on business requirements, maintaining Zero Trust while giving admins the appropriate level of autonomy. Tenants are virtualized as they would be with an on-premises Microsoft environment with Active Directory organizational units (OUs).

An organization can divide their single Microsoft 365 tenant into logical groups, or sub-tenants, often based on Active Directory attributes. Once the tenant is logically divided, regional admins may be assigned to the sub or Virtual Tenants. These Virtual Tenants can be based on geography, team unit or even an agency’s on-premises OU structure, enhancing admin responsiveness while effectively mitigating IT threats.

Perfect Permissions™

This process, working within the Virtual Tenant orchestrator, is designed to heighten task specificity and delegation further. Perfect Permissions™ provides the ability to assign incredibly granular, specialized access and authority for admins across each Virtual Tenant slice.

Health Check icon

Health Check

Health Check provides a comprehensive deep scan, analysis and assessment across complex Microsoft 365 environments to identify configuration and permissions issues that create security gaps.

The Health Check leverages the CIS Microsoft 365 Foundations Benchmark and provides 25+ KPIs across five categories:
  • Account/authentication
  • Application permissions
  • Data management
  • Email/Exchange security
  • Auditing
Microsoft 365 administrators can immediately leverage insights from recurring Health Checks to take action using CoreView Playbooks.

Playbooks™

Admins can take action using insights from Health Checks with Playbooks. Playbooks provide out-of-the box workflows based on common governance specifications to accelerate remediation actions. Admins can also modify templates or build custom Playbooks with a simple user interface.

Out-of-the-box Playbooks cover common governance needs such as:
  • Microsoft Teams lifecycle management
  • Security and identity management
  • License management
  • and more…
Workflow

Workflow Library

The Workflow Library is a centralized repository for hundreds of customizable actions that replace manual processes and reduce overall time spent on repetitive tasks.

The library is powered by an automation engine that allows users to combine multiple tasks into a single process and also to delegate to local operators securely. Automated workflows allow conditional logic and integration with other workflows into the stream.
Connectors icon

Connectors

Hybrid Connector – manage/automate hybrid Microsoft 365 environments, including forests, from a single interface. single web-based interface to manage multiple directories (AAD/Entra ID, Active Directory with single or many forests/domains, including Hybrid Exchange deployments), enabling a simplified and secure layer for all objects (e.g., accounts, permissions, groups, and memberships).
Teams Phone Connector – manage Teams Phone components and PSTN assignments based on department, division, region or other criteria. Assign groups of numbers, manage and customize auto-attendants by location or division, direct routing, operator connect, and Teams calling plans all in one place.
ServiceNow ITSM Connector – put CoreView functionality and automation directly in the ITSM workflow. ServiceNow operators are able to execute tasks within ServiceNow that resolve issues in Microsoft 365 or, alternatively, CoreView users can create ServiceNow tickets straight from CoreView.
Data Connector – export data from CoreView into a SQL database or data warehouse (SQL based) then combine with third party data sources to create custom reports and dashboards using BI tools of choice.
Multi-tenant Connector – manage multiple tenants from a single interface, access multi-tenant aggregated reporting, synchronization of configuration capabilities across tenants.
Integration Connector – integrate third party applications to CoreView with bi-directional workflow API to orchestrate automation between systems.
Audit Connector – import the Microsoft Unified Audit log into CoreView, monitor security activity and alerts based on log events with the ability to trigger

License Pools icon

License Pools

License Pools allow authorized admins to create groupings of licenses based on teams, campuses, divisions, regions or any other business segment.

Admins can then distribute licenses and delegate responsibility for managing licenses out to segments of the organizations, including business operations teams, procurement or other stakeholders.

Since pools can be created by business group, IT teams, Finance and business owners can examine and tightly control license costs, including price per user, chargebacks, and more.
Reporting Engine icon

Reporting Engine

The reporting engine maintains pre-built reports and facilitates seamless automation of report generation so admins can:
  • Schedule reports to send automatically
  • Pivot and chart data in the application without the need to export
  • Fix issues from the report they were found in
  • Remediate automatically when compliance gaps occur
  • Easily explore audit data to report on past events
  • Tie data to key performance indicators (KPIs) and customizable dashboards
